A bit in English further down this post

English Harry Vinters (DDF) kommentar:

I am the Harry Vinter, who is the reason of this discussion.
I am member of "Den Danske Forening" (DDF), and I helped to initiate the manifestation in Copenhagen as a private person. DDF is not the organizer and will not be mentioned in any way.

But let me inform you, that DDF was founded by veterans of WW2. One of the people still in the Committee of DDF (Mr. Dalgaard) was tortured by Gestapo for printing illegal magazines.
Now he is not considered worthy of March for Free Expression.

Shame on you!

Withdrawl of endorsement.

Mark Wallace fra The Freedom Association
Dr. Sean Gabb, Directør for 'Libertarian Alliance',
Evan Harris MP, Partiet 'Liberal Democrats' talsmand for menneskerettigheder,
Maryam Namazie, broadcaster & human rights campaigner,
Sayyida Rend Shakir Al-Hadithi,
Peter Tatchell, menneskerettigheds aktivist,

Communists for Free Speech

I attended this afternoon's rally in London.

There was a surreal moment when when one of the organisers told the crowd that he had just been informed by the police that they had received a 'complaint' about one of the banners... I was incredulous when he then asked the individual not to display it any more... and this in a rally in support of free speech??!!

One of the previous speakers, Mariam Namaze, took the mike and quite rightly told the crowd that it would be wrong to allow those who complained to win the day.

The Danish Cartoons depicting the muslim prophet were not, after all, illegal were they? She then rightly suggested that the entire crowd should pass the offending banner from person to person, holding it aloft for all to see.

The police couldn't after all arrest everyone. I was proud to hold that banner aloft in the face of such a blatent attempt by “persons unknown” to impose their will on our freedom of expression. Comment on  Dhimmi watch

Ummah Forum Action Alert: Protestors to wear T-shirts with Muhammad Cartoons at Rally this Saturday

English   Muslims are welcome No Danish Cartoons:

In an extraordinary announcement, Peter Risdon of the March for Free Expression has asked marchers to not bring the cartoons.-

Peter Risdon: "At the outset, we said that displays of the Danish cartoons would be welcome on Saturday.

No, let me rephrase that: At the outset, I, Peter Risdon, said the cartoons would be welcome.
I am going to take full responsibility for this.
I now think that was a mistake.

In practice, Muslims who wholeheartedly endorse our statement of principle, as quoted ...by Peter Tatchell in his superb essay, who abhor the threats made against Danish cartoonists and believe people should have the right to publish things they themselves find offensive or abhorrent would be UNABLE to come to our rally on Saturday, because to be surrounded by these cartoons, now, in the present context when the BNP are using them as a rallying point, would be intolerable.

So I now appeal to people not to bring the cartoons on T-shirts or placards."

So far Peter Risdon's statement of dhimmihood and inconsequence.

Balders reaction to the above statement and other posts relating to the March for (not so) Free Expression at other blogs:

I think this is an absolute disgrace, and I will support no venues that discriminate against the British National Party, the only party in the UK that fights uncompromisingly for the rights of indigenous Britons. the rest of this post

The organizers probably have very respectible intentions, just like the people who made mass immigration possible to begin with. the rest of this post

Reaction to archduke: Who the hell are "indigenous Britons" anyway? .... jackbooted fascists.... the rest of this post

Reaction to Voltaire's reasons to ban and defame the BNP:
if you are excluding people with this point of view what about the myriads of immigrant organizations which are organized on ethnic lines? What about the organizations for muslim police, Jewish police, black police,..... the rest of this post
