European visions: The visionary Coudenhove-Kalergi with Otto Von Habsburg

Public discussion in the European House [Europäisches Haus] in Berlin about the visionary Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi.

'He who is not an optimist concerning the European effort, will always be on the wrong side'.

This was only one of the evening’s central sentences spoken by Otto von Habsburg, honorary President of the Pan European Union, and son of the last Austrian Emperor.

In a dialogue with Eckart Stratenschulte, leader of the European Academy, the 95 year old emperor son presented a collection of writings by the European visionary Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi (1894-1972).

Kalergi, the founder of the Pan European Union was Otto von Habsburg's mentor and model.

Heinz Wimpissinger, General Secretary of Coudenhove-Kalergi European Society stated that Von Habsburg had picked up and continued the vision of the free unification of all European states already formulated in 1922.

The emperor son called the time between 1979 and 1999, when he was a delegate and later president by seniority
of the European Parliament, the happiest years of his life.

Eckart Stratenschulte talked about the legendary 'Pan European Picnic' in August 1989 in the Hungarian border town Sopron which led to the spontaneous opening of the iron curtain, and the mass flight of citizens of the German Democratic Republic [GDR - East Germany] to the West.  Otto von Habsburg himself had been involved in preparing this event.

He described his mentor Coudenhove-Kalergi as 'a completely unselfish man', who knew that he could only prepare, but would not be able to shape the European future. Von Habsburg sees himself as the 'professional optimist', who doesn't allow him self to be knocked down by adversity.

'Through 95 years I have seen much grow slowly which today is considered a matter of course.'

Also Gerhard Sabathil, chairman of the representation of the European Commission, who took leave of his time in Berlin this evening, said that he would begin the new assignment which is waiting for him as director of planning and strategy of the General council of Foreign Relations in Brussels with great optimism.

The President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy was awarded the European Prize Coudenhove-Kalergi 2012 on 16 November 2012 at a special congress in Vienna to celebrate 90 years of the Pan-Europa movement. The prize is awarded biennially to leading personalities for their extraordinary commitment in the European unification process.
 

The decisive factor in awarding the prize was the balanced way in which President Van Rompuy had assumed the new post of President of the European Council established by the Lisbon Treaty. He had performed this very sensitive leadership and coordination role in a determined but conciliatory fashion, and stress was put on his skilful arbitration in European affairs and unfailing commitment to European ethical values.

In his acceptance speech Mr Van Rompuy described Europe's unification as a project for peace. The idea, which was also at the centre of Coudenhove-Kalergi's work, has lost nothing of its importance 90 years later.

The article above was published on an official page from the European Commission, but contrary to the stated purpose of the meeting, it tells us nothing about the works of Coudenhove-Kalergi, but reported only superficially.

What is interesting about the article, is not so much it's content, but the fact that this is another examle of the fact that Coudenhove-Kalergi is still held in great esteem in European circles, despite his confused racist and elitist teachings, which have certain uncanning similarities to Nazi ideology.

It would be quite interesting to know if Coudenhove-Kalergi's book Practical Idealism (1925) was mentioned at this meeting, if it at all went beyond the superficial report which leaves us with the impression of just another event where europhile bigwigs are praising each other.

There is indeed a very high probability bordering to certainty, that it was not referred to, as it is neither mentioned on pages from the European Union, nor on the pages of the Pan European Movement, which was founded by Coudenhove-Kalergi, and supported with money from the notorious bankers Rothschild and Warburg.

EU ideologist's book banned in Germany

In Germany this book is unofficially banned, though it is not on the official list of books censored by the German government, it is not possible to buy it in any bookstores in Germany, neither new nor used.

The Nazi's had a racial philosophy in which the Germanic or Aryan Race was thought of as superior, and they were concerned with breeding the right type of people.

Rather less known it is, that Adolf Hitler’s contemporary Count Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi, who is now regarded as one of the founding fathers of the present European Union, had ideas somewhat similar to these, this time however with the Jews as a predestined spiritual leader race [Führerrasse].

Europe conquered by the Jews

Coudenhove-Kalergi, credits the Jews with most of the European civilizations philosophical and humanistic attainments, and literally states that: 'Europe has been conquered religiously by Jews'.

Europeans are described as slave people who damaged 'the spiritual master race', always jealous of the Jews, therefore eternally seeking to exterminate them.

Then there is Coudenhove-Kalergi's vision of the future population of Europe as 'A Eurasian-Negroid race of the future, similar in its outward appearance to the Ancient Egyptians', and his odd ideas about breeding useful races.

I think one could really laugh at a lot of Coudenhoven's self-important archaic style scribblings, if it wasn't because a lot of people in high and influential quarters seem to take it all rather seriously.

One world Government

Coudenhove-Kalergi's vision is that of a one world government, ruled by a spiritual elite, free masons and representatives of royalty and nobility, which 'seizes the means of power of society: [gun] powder, gold, ink, and use them for the blessing of the general public.'

Much of it sounds suspiciously similar to the development of the European Union today with the Lisbon Treaty as a decisive point of no return.

And since Coudenhove-Kalergi is officially recognized and almost uplifted to sainthood by that same institution, I suppose one does not have to have a lot of fantasy to see a connection between Coudenhove-Kalergi's philosemitic racism, and the strategies of the European Union.

After the end of WWII, Nazism and Communism have slowly been replaced with this equally totalitarian utterly destructive and ugly philosophy.

Anti European racism at the core of European policy - a deliberate strategy

The fanatical campaigning and legislating of the European Union against real or perceived anti-Semitism, racism, islamophobia, xenophobia, homophobia etc. becomes even more questionable when one realizes that the strategies from the EU are nothing but a different kind of racism, inspired by the philosemitic racist and supremacist philosopher Coudenhove-Kalergi, which seems to have the destruction of the European race, European nations, culture and identity as a prime objective.

The introduction of large groups of muslim immigrants into all European countries, and eventually EU membership of Turkey and North Africa, seems to be one of the means by which this evil plot is to be realized.
